Each email that HRC Law LLP sends out has the following disclaimer incorporated by reference into it.  This wording is not copied out in full in each email because we aim to keep things as simple as possible and because we’d like to save our clients, ourselves, and others, from wasting paper (which in turn helps the environment):

The contents of this email and of any files transmitted with it are confidential to the intended recipient.  They may not be disclosed, used by or copied in any way by anyone other than the intended recipient.

If this email is received in error, please contact HRC Law LLP on 0161 358 0545 quoting the name of the sender and the email address to which it has been sent and then delete it.

Copyright in this email and any document created by us and sent as an attachment to this email will be and remain vested in us and will not be transferred to you.

Neither HRC Law LLP nor the sender accepts any responsibility or liability for viruses or for harm caused by cyber-crime.  It is your responsibility to scan or otherwise check this email and any files transmitted with it.

As you know from the email we sent you, HRC Law LLP is a registered limited liability partnership (LLP) registered in England & Wales (registered number OC379996).   It is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority.

Service of documents by email is not accepted.

Cybercrime and fraud is unfortunately on the increase.  If you receive an email that appears to come from HRC Law LLP which provides different bank details or indicates a change of our bank details, it is unlikely to be genuine.  Please do not reply to the email or act on any information contained in it.  Instead, please contact us immediately to check the account details using the number you always use for us (rather than any alternative number provided on that email).  We will not accept responsibility if you transfer money into an incorrect account.
